Where we are
We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA across struapractice.com. We have not yet achieved full conformance, and we would rather say that plainly than claim more than is true. This site helps therapists make their websites easier to understand, so it should be easy to use too.
What we checked, and what passed
On October 5, 2026, we ran an automated check (axe, WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules) on 17 pages of this website, including the homepage, the guides for therapists, the Therapist Recognition Index, and the legal pages, at both desktop and phone sizes. We also checked the Recognition Score report that appears after a scan, at phone size. The first run found text with too little contrast against its background, and some links marked only by color. We fixed them, and every checked page then passed.
- Text and buttons meet the contrast levels WCAG 2.2 AA asks for.
- Links inside paragraphs are underlined, so color is never the only thing marking them.
- Every page we checked has a skip link to jump past the top of the page, a main content area, and a declared language.
- We moved through the homepage, the guides, the Index and the Path page using only the Tab key. Every link, button, form field and question could be reached in a sensible order, and focus is shown with a clear outline.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the sections that normally fade in as you scroll appear right away instead.
What still falls short
- An automated check finds only some problems. We have not yet tested this site with a screen reader such as VoiceOver or NVDA, and no independent audit has been done.
- Our keyboard check was a pass through each page with the Tab key, not a full test of every interaction.
We will update this list as items are fixed or found.
